My Story
Born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana, I began playing oboe at a young age. After many years of private lessons, I attended the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music where I received my Bachelors degree in Oboe Performance. I gained my Master's at Arizona State University. Since then, I have been playing, teaching and making reeds in the Phoenix Metropolitan area. I play professionally with the Phoenix Opera, sub with the Phoenix symphony, and Arizona Opera. I also play in many smaller orchestras and chamber groups throughout the valley and state. I have a wonderful studio of oboe students and keep very busy making lots of oboe and English Horn reeds.
